Maker Education

Since 2013, DECO Resources has been supporting the development of community-based responses to local level environmental challenges.  We achieve this by facilitating the efforts of students, adults, and community groups as they design, construct, and install projects that address environmental challenges while simultaneously meeting community needs.

Our team is looking to support schools and other community-based educational institutions on integrating sustainable best-practices into their programming. Take our questionnaire about integrating sustainability and environmental education into your classroom or organization with Maker Ed.

Internship opportunities are available. Since 2013, we have hosted more than 20 students from schools like the University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University, Chatham University, and Duquesne University.
